NHI scientists identify active Anti- body that neutralize all HIV strains.

Scientists from national institutes of health, the largest biomedical research agency in the world have identified an anti -body from HIV infected person that potently neutralize 98% of HIV isolates tested, including 16 of 20 strains resistant to other anti- bodies of same class. The remarkable breadth and potency of this anti-body named N6 make it an attractive candidate for further development of potentially treat or prevent HIV infection, say researchers identifying broadly neutralizing anti-bodies against HIV has been difficult because the virus rapidly changes its surface protein to evade recognition by the immune system- crdt:niai.nih.gov
