She claimed she saw me in her dream taking her husband from her.On this fateful day, on Sunday 4th June, 2017, she blocked me on my way to the church. I didn't want to make trouble with her, so I snubbed her and walked on. I just noticed she poured something on me; it was when I started reacting to it that I knew it was an acid. People could not immediately reached me when I screamed for help, until I managed to move into the church because I was close by. It was some of the church members around that immediately brought me to the hospital. I have finished my WAEC and JAMB exams which I cleared, I am learning tailoring while awaiting admission. I am the second child in a family of five", she sobbed while explaining.
Speaking also was the victim's mother, Mrs. Patricia John Paul who already looked sick as a result of the trauma. According to her, the whole issue was just confusing. Narrating, she said, "she (Stella) started making this trouble after she claimed that she lost her unborn baby to miscarriage after I prayed and sang in my house one night. Since then she kept on making troubles of seeing us in her dreams. When we complained, my husband, a V.I.O would restrain us from retaliating while her husband would plead for peace. She kept on calling me names and accusing me of trying to kill her to marry my daughter to her husband. As we speak, last year April, this same daughter of mine was stabbed at that same spot where the acid was poured on her", she stated.
