Police arrest two suspects for opening shooting and killing Four in delta state.

The Delta State Police Command has arrested two suspects,Abraham Ndudi (24) from Kwale and Ifeany Okereke (21) from Ogbaru in Anambra State for their alleged involvement in last Friday night shooting and killing of four persons at the Abraka market,Asaba.

The suspects who were arrested from their hideouts where they had fled into in their bid to escape arrest were already assisting the police in their investigation, while efforts were on to arrest the third suspect known as the last burial.

Last night Friday, 15/9/17,at about 10: pm,three men in black outfit fired sporadically into the Abraka market, Asaba along Asaba-Onitsha expressway predominantly inhabited by non indigenes and in the process killed four persons and injured five others who are currently taking treatment at the Federal Medical Center (FMC) Asaba.

The police said investigation had already commenced into the unwarranted shooting and wounding of innocent lives.The Delta State Commissioner of Police,Zanna Ibrahim enjoined both non-indigenes and alike not to panic as the law would take its course.He commiserated with both relatives of the deceased and injured,adding that everything was being done to ensure peace and security in the State.
